I always love reading articles and posts about makeup and beauty tips, it happens to be my most experimental department. I am so vulnerable to cosmetic adverts, especially the super long eyelashes and fully plump lips!
I have created a list of my most current makeup obsessions, for now it looks like I’m sticking to these for a while!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation: Stays on all day without smearing or blotching. It gives the face a very naturally smooth glow. Available in more than 30 different shades.
Diorshow Black Out Mascara: Naturally exaggerates the length of the eyelashes making them look full and dark without making them look like clumpy spider lashes.
Mac Lip Conditioner: Say bye bye to annoyingly dry winter lips. This lip conditioner is great for use all year long, but extremely essential on those extra cold days.
Mac Devine Night Lipstick – “Prepare for Pleasure” Magenta Red: This is personally one of my favourites! It does not smear and stays intact for most of the day. It comes in more than three different shades.
Lancome Plumer Liner: The best thing about this eyeliner is that it is so easy to use. The felt pen tip allows you to smoothly apply eyeliner on the upper lid. This is perfect for the cat-eye look!
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder – Moisturizing and Long Lasting: Comes in almost 8 different shades, this bronzing powder is perfect for that lost summer tan. Gives you a natural glow and bronzing effect. How to apply (Advice from Guerlain): Use the “3” technique. With your bronzing brush draw a virtual “3” on each side of the face starting from forehead down to the cheeks, then the chin and down along the neck.
Benefit Brow Zings: Eyebrows are my obsession! I love this easy to use kit from Benefit. Each kit contains both wax and coloring powder. Start by applying the wax to shape the brown and then apply the coloring powder to fill in the gaps. Available in three different shades Light, Medium and Dark.
Vichy Normaderm Anti-Aging Cream: I am a sucker to the myth that says “after 21 you need to start using anti-aging creams as prevention”. Vichy Normaderm is perfect as a night cream both to prevent acne and to keep your skin moisturized and soft.
La Prairie Cellular Radiance Cream: Depending on your budget, the La Prairie moisturizing creams are extremely helpful for keeping your skin glowing and looking radiant. I am personally a fan of of the cellular radiance cream especially during winter when my skin gets extra dry. Apply even drops around the face and down the neck and massage smoothly.
