I don’t know about you, but I am a major sucker for different updos and what is the best way to wear your hair effortlessly.
Of my favorite looks for Spring Summer 2014, I have picked a couple of looks from the runway that I personally feel are extremely easy to pull off without the hassle of going to the hairdresser.
Messy updo: Gather up your hair in a high or low bun without stressing about falling strands, on the contrary let them drop naturally. This look has plenty of loose hair floating around, giving you an effortlessly messy – chic look.
Textured styles: For a more different approach, split your hair perfectly in half, using your choice of forceful hair spray keep the top of the head down to the middle very tightly slick back. Let the bottom part of your hair drop freely. If you have naturally straight hair add some waves to the bottom part. My favorite hair curler is Babyliss Volume Waves the size is just perfect, since I have pin straight hair this has saved my life for any last minute outing. I suggest you do not add spray to the curled ends, let the hair drop naturally.
Braids are back: For a while the trend of braids died out, but thankfully it is back. My personal favorite is a messy fishtail braid, it suits almost every style and works perfectly on any hair length. When going for a braid try to almost always aim for two styles; a super messy braid or a super slick back tight one – in between never seals the deal.
Accessorise that hair: Be it flowers, a cap, headband or metallic accessory; it belongs on your head this season. There are no limits as to what you can experiment with. Depending on your occassion you have a wide range of hair accessories to choose from. Enjoy this trend while it lasts.
