A couple of years back when the term “loafer” or “moccasin” was mentioned, I would cringe at the idea of strutting a pair of shoes my great grandmother probably owned. Well, times are changing! Loafers and moccasins are the next big thing and I thank the all so famous brand Tod’s.

My first ever fashion internship was actually with Tod’s in London; such a great experience; and trust me when I say that they have put moccasins on the fashion map. With their never ending array of colors and textures, I am confident enough to say that any loafer and moccasin lover started off with a pair of gommino shoes.

Luckily all our favorite brands have started focusing on the release of their loafer and moccasin line; its complete comfort with style. They are perfect to be worn all year regardless of the season. Mostly to be worn during the day, but depending on your evening event and what the rest of the outfit is, you can get lucky enough to be able to pull off a pair at night.

These are my favorite picks for the season, some of which are the classics and remain from season to season while others are just too pretty to resist.
