For a second year in a row, Winter Whites are the next big thing for your Fall/Winter wardrobe. Although in the past it was alpa bout the white pants and white pant suit, this year the focus is shoes and bags.
With Burberry taking over the spotlight last year with the introduction of white pumps and boots, it seems like designers this year have noticed the White Success and have adopted it as their own.
Although I have not always been a huge fan of white leather bags, I have learned to appreciate and build some sort of a love hate relationship with this specific trend.
When too white I feel a bag takes away from the essence of your outfit, however the trick is to settle for light colored clothing when opting for a white bag. You would not want to risk looking too “bag flashy” if your outfit happened to be more on the darker side.
Second this is cleaning. We all know how it feels when your white pieces of clothing get dirty or gradually start turning a weird shade of beige-yellow; rule of thumb; get a clean piece of cotton cloth and spray a small amount of wood cleaner and watch that yellow tone start to disappear.
This winter there are no rules. Dark shades for winter and light shades for summer is a rule that I would probably associate with several years back. For the time being; the sky is your limit. Winter Whites, Summer Blacks and Autumn Neutrals are your way to go.
